John Berger, MA, LMFT (temp.)

John Berger graduated from Harding School of Theology in 2014 with a Masters of Arts in Counseling. Previously, he graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Religion. John completed internships at Compass Intervention Center and The Oaks at La Paloma. Prior to a career in mental health, John worked for ten years in higher education with leadership experience at two local universities. Additionally, John currently serves as a Health Services Officer in the Army National Guard. 

John currently holds a temporary license as a Marriage and Family Therapist and is pursuing Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) status under the supervision of George Tsirgiotis LPC-MHSP. John works with patients from all walks of life, but has experience with clients with trauma, substance use, addiction, anxiety, depression, marriage and family conflict, and college and career planning.

John has been married for 10 years, and his wife additionally works as a therapist locally. He and his wife have two boys.
