Adrianne Sehar; LPC-MHSP (associate)
Adrianne graduated from Walden University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Memphis. From a young age, she recognized a deep passion for helping others, which naturally evolved into her career as a mental health counselor. Adrianne has experience working with children (ages 4+), adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, trauma, and low self-esteem. She also works with women experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Adrianne utilizes evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while maintaining a strong person-centered foundation. She takes a holistic, whole-person approach to care, recognizing the important connection between mental, emotional, and physical health. Adrianne believes overall well-being is influenced by many factors and thoughtfully incorporates discussions around lifestyle, stress, and physical health into the therapeutic process when appropriate.
For clients who value spirituality, Adrianne offers the option of integrating Christian-based practices into therapy. She strives to provide a caring, non-judgmental environment that supports personal growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change. Adrianne is under the supervision of Keith Fussell, LPC-MHSP, as she works toward full licensure.
Outside of her rewarding career, Adrianne enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters, relaxing outdoors, and running.
Adrianne’s rate is $80 per session, and she also works with church and business contracts. She is able to accept Cigna and Aetna insurance after a diagnostic session. To schedule a session with Adrianne, you can call (731) 326-3179 or email her at adrianne.sehar@yahoo.com.
